Climate at 26

The more you've figured it out,
The more lost you've become
Every time I gain understanding,
Confusion is realized and it burns like the sun
The colder the weather, the quieter the guns
The hotter the season, the more bodies seem to drop off
I'm no rocket scientist, I'm just a young man
I don't have the answers, I just want to live
The divisions of fear and hate have risen to those not formerly aware.
With camera lenses capturing the darkest parts of the heart,
Images that temporarily make people care.
If only we did this, If only we did that
So much chat and talk, so little act and walk
We don't really know
All we can do is keep the faith and believe
Maybe one day we'll find the doors for the misfit keys.
